It's been very busy lately, but i have some great news

Following our fellow artist Sami Basri. on the recent run of Witchblade ( #109,#110,#113-115 ), two more Indonesians are putting their marks on world's comic industry. Big time.

Both to be published by Radical Comics, Garrie Gastonny is pencilling CALIBER, an Arthurian legend retold in Western fashion , while Admira Wijaya a.k.a Anto is crafting HERCULES, the darker and gory version of the Son of Zeus and his band of Greeks.

The 2 titles will make it to Hollywood with John Woo to direct Caliber and Peter Berg on Hercules. I personally very proud of the guys that I think not many of us, Indonesians comic artist, ever working very closely with a Hollywood material production- maybe even its the first time for us ( and be glad its not class B movies ) . Can't wait to see the movies!!

For Indonesians interested on the books, the price is ridiculously cheap of US$1, that's more less Rp.10.000 for a full painted 22 pages book. Check your nearest US comic retailer to pre-order. And for those in Jakarta, we'll do a local event at launch and i hope you can buy it directly on the spot, i'll update with more details on my journal later when the date is consolidated.
